About Nicolas
My name is Nicolas Giampaglia, a product and UX designer currently pursuing my MBS in Product Design at Rutgers University. I also hold a B.S. in Games and Emerging Media (Design, Writing, & Culture) from Marist College, along with hands-on UX training through the Google UX Design Certificate (2024) and General Assembly UX Bootcamp (2023).
I focus on building thoughtful, user-centered digital experiences. from early research and wire-frames to interactive prototypes. I’m especially interested in creating solutions that feel intuitive, purposeful, and fun to use, without adding unnecessary complexity. At the core of my work is a belief that good design should make technology feel more human and approachable.
My approach blends creative exploration and strategy. I enjoy digging into problems, questioning assumptions, and asking “why?” until the idea truly serves the user. I’m comfortable working with tools like Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite, and I’m always learning new methods and techniques to grow as a designer.
Outside of design, I’m inspired by storytelling in games and film, which often shapes how I think about narrative, flow, and interaction within digital experiences.
